The Premier League are set to discuss giving fans unprecedented access, once football returns from the coronavirus pandemic, by allowing television companies to broadcast live from inside the dressing room and putting microphones in the dugout.
With supporters likely to be unable to attend games for many months, pressure is mounting on broadcasters Sky and BT Sport not to deliver an inferior product when the action resumes.
Customers in the UK could demand a refund totalling £762million from both companies if there is no football on their screens this season, while subpar coverage could also see them ask for some of their money back.
