The Premier League has fired a warning to players by outlining tough new action against those who break government coronavirus rules.
All 20 teams received a letter on Friday informing them of incoming "enhanced" measures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
These include a ban on shirt-swapping and renewed warnings about "handshakes or hugging" between players. Top-flight chiefs will take action against those breaking guidelines and clubs are expected to heed the new instructions immediately, before they are adopted formally at the next shareholders' meeting.
