The Belgian League have become the first major division in Europe to decide how they will resolve the current season amid the coronavirus outbreak.
And it appears the campaign will be cancelled, with the most recent standings providing the final results, meaning top-of-the-table Club Brugge will be declared champions.
All teams had played 29 games when the season was suspended, with Brugge clear leaders by 15 points ahead of second place Gent.
The decision means that Gent are set to take a Champions League spot, with Charleroi cruelly missing out as they sat a point behind them when games were called off.
