Preparations ramp up for 100,000 vaccinations next week

Preparations are under way for the ramping up of the vaccination roll-out with 100,000 doses due to be given next week, which is up 20,000 on the number of people inoculated in the past week.

Ahead of the expected publication by the Government on Tuesday of a new Living with Covid plan , it has emerged that many people with underlying health conditions are to be moved up the vaccination priority list.

More than 370,000 people aged between 18 and 64 were ranked at number seven in the initial vaccination allocation list announced late last year.
