Britain’s coronavirus heroes could be rewarded with a Palace garden party hosted by the Queen. For nearly three months selfless frontline workers have been working flat out to keep Britain running as Covid-19 ravaged the nation.
And now, thousands of key staff could be rewarded with a party at Buckingham Palace to recognise their dedication during the crisis.
Under proposals being considered by the Government, the Queen will be asked to host the event. Councils have begun collating lists of people from nurses to shop workers, postmen to delivery drivers and carers, who deserve to be recognised.
