R Kelly's lawyers have filed a motion in the US to see the singer released from prison on bail, after he expressed fears of catching coronavirus.
The singer is currently being held in Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Centre without bail as he awaits trial for several sex crime charges.
The 53-year-old’s legal team have claimed he is in the high-risk category of people most susceptible to COVID-19, due to his age and existing health issues.
