People are being urged to “stay home, stay safe, stay off the railway” after a series of incidents on the tracks including one in Airdrie.Four teenagers crossed the railway line in front of a train near Drumgelloch on Wednesday.It was one of 50 instances of railway trespassing across Scotland in the past month, during the period since schools closed, three days before the introduction of the full coronavirus lockdown.Now track operator Network Rail Scotland is reminding the public to stay away from railway lines, especially ahead of the arrival of lighter nights and the summer holiday period.They say that “despite most people observing the government’s guidelines on staying home and social distancing, Scotland’s Railway is still seeing
