Rapper Dave didn't hold back with his thoughts on the treatment of the NHS by the government as the health system becomes crippled by the coronavirus pandemic.

His rant comes as thousands of retired medical staff have returned to assist the NHS deal with the virus outbreak - with many healthcare professionals working seven days a week.

Taking to his Instagram page which boasts 1.5 million followers, the rap star hit out at the cuts to the National Health Service and also claimed that the government won't care about medical staff when the Covid-19 pandemic is over.

He went on to question why NHS workers were not already being given perks such as free parking and a wage that they can live on and support a family with.
