The UK now has the capacity to test 'all key social care staff and NHS staff who need to be tested', Health Secretary Matt Hancock said as he announced 15 drive-through coronavirus test centres had now been opened.
It's also been announced that two more Nightingale hospitals, are to be built in Sunderland and Exeter to help treat those who contract covid-19.
Speaking at Friday's daily press conference Mr Hancock said a total of 15 drive-through testing centres, including one at Manchester Airport, were now open.
He added: "I can announce today that we have capacity for all key social care staff and NHS staff who need to be tested to get those tests." Mr Hancock said that two more 'Lighthouse mega-labs' were on track in Cheshire and
