A teenage boy suffered a five-day hospital nightmare after he caught a viral illness from a sheep which left him with his body feeling like it was on fire.

Brychan Edwards, 15, was rushed to hospital after his hands and feet flared up in angry red welts. Medics scratched their head about the peculiar disease, that’s rarely seen in hospitals, North Wales Live reports.

Worried mum, Ffion Clwyd Edwards, said Brychan developed an itchy rash on both hands in early May. She applied antiseptic and gauze so that he could return to his part-time milking job, and antibiotics and anti-fungal tablets were described.

Within five days, hives spread across Brychan’s body, from his hands to his elbows, knees, ankles and feet. Ffion called her family GP

Group of men assault, rob man of nearly $30K in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after four men broke into a home and assaulted a man in Northeast Philadelphia.
