Renfrew fire station was forced to close its doors after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.The Paisley Road station was left unmanned on Thursday night as cleaners were brought in to decontaminate the building.Fire service bosses say the building remained closed for a "short period of time" while the deep clean was carried out to stop the virus spreading to any other staff members.Area Commander David McCarrey is the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s Local Senior Officer for East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
