Ricky Gervais has no sympathy for millionaire celebrities who are isolating in huge mansions while NHS staff lose their lives battling the coronavirus pandemic.
The 58-year-old comedian, who has a second series of After Life being released on Netflix later this month, was forthright in his thoughts about rich stars bemoaning their lot.
This was heightened by singer Sam Smith crying on Instagram as he struggles to cope with self-isolation in his £12million home.
Speaking to The Sun, Gervais said: "After this is over I never want to hear people moaning about the welfare state again, I never want to hear people moaning about nurses again.
