Robbie Williams’ wife, Ayda Field, has opened up about her mum’s cancer battle during the coronavirus lockdown. Ayda’s mum, Gwen, who is 70, was already suffering from Parkinson’s and Lupus when she was diagnosed.
And then, earlier this year, she was devastatingly diagnosed with stage two cervical cancer. Gwen’s diagnosis saw Robbie, 46 and Ayda, 40, self-isolate apart for the first few weeks of lockdown to protect her.
Robbie returned home to Los Angeles from a trip to Melbourne after the first few weeks of lockdown. He was told to self-isolate in a hotel when he got back so he could protect his vulnerable mother-in-law.
