Rutherglen Tennis Club hope to bring sport to the community as they deliver nets to isolated families.With schools closed across South Lanarkshire, the coaches at the club have offered locals the chance to keep fit at home with their mini tennis nets that can be used in the garden.Club President Gareth Ellor says it shows the community spirit of the team and hopes they can provide some relief through sport during the coronavirus crisis.He told the Reformer: “Coaches have been offering tennis nets and to deliver them around the doors while people are self-isolating.“That just shows what a great team we have here.
