A new survey has found that four out of five Ryanair passengers who requested a cash refund after their flight was cancelled during the coronavirus pandemic are still waiting for their money.
Which? surveyed 1,632 UK adults who had accepted or applied for a refund after having a flight cancelled between mid March and early May.
The poll Indicated that some 84 per cent of customers have not had their money returned and only 5 per cent have received a refund within the seven-day legal time limit for EU carriers.
The survey findings are similar to those published by Martin Lewis’ MoneySavingExpert.com team which named Ryanair as the seventh worst travel firm for giving cash refunds.
