No new coronavirus deaths have been reported at Salford Royal Hospital for the first time in three weeks. NHS England has been posting daily updates on the number of people who have died at hospitals across the country since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak.

So far, a total of 132 people have lost their lives at Salford Royal. But today's update reported no new deaths at the hospital.

It's the first time the total number of coronavirus deaths has stayed the same at Salford Royal since April 6th. The latest update does not mean that no Covid-19 patients have died in the last 24 hours as there is usually a delay in reporting deaths up to a few days.
