Salon owner gives glimpse into what to expect from your next hair appointment

The reopening of hair salons can't come soon enough for some people as they emerge from lockdown with unruly hairstyles. But when can you expect your hair or beauty salon to start welcoming clients again, and just how different will appointments be in the future?

Helen Swiggs, the owner and stylist at XL Hairdressing in St Austell, Cornwall, has revealed what patrons can expect from hairdressing in the future.

Helen, 55, has been working at her salon for almost 20 years and has seen a fair amount of change in the industry, reports CornwallLive.

When can you expect to get back in the salon? There is no clear guidance at the moment for hairdressers from the Government and the National Hair and Beauty Federation (NHBF) on when salons can begin

"Yesterday, he was kind of scared to walk home by himself, so I came and picked him up." The safety of local children walking to and from school has become a growing concern. Chief Keven Bethel, a Special Advisor on School Safety for the School District of Philadelphia, appeared on Good Day Philadelphia.
