People with the coronavirus cannot be infected by the disease twice, scientists in South Korea have claimed. Researchers at the South Korean centre for disease and control prevention (CDC) claim it is simply impossible for Covid-19 to be reactivated in human bodies.
And they say reported cases of relapsing are actually down to testing failures, reports Sky News. The reports adds there have been more than 10,000 cases of the coronavirus in South Korea.
Concerns were raised after 277 were believed to have fallen ill for a second time, but analyses have dismissed this theory. However, the World Health Organisation has warned countries against using "immunity passports".
