NHS heroes who put their lives on the line during the pandemic have been rewarded with a 60p fruit pot or a cup of cheap coffee.Bosses at NHS Lothian used “wellbeing” cash allocated to improve staff morale to offer a chopped fruit cup or a “hot drink” – but banned them from enjoying “barista”-style lattes or cappuccinos.
