Scots nurses last night told how they sat by bedsides giving comfort to dying coronavirus patients but have now been forced out of their jobs.Both the nurses works for NHS Fife on acute medical wards.One chose to do bank work to fit in around child care more easily than a regular staff job.The other nurse, who has worked for the NHS for 35 years, gave up working in a staff position after the death of her husband but returned to bank work one or two days a week when she struggled to survive on her pension.The younger of the nurses worked three or more shifts for more than four years, looking after sick patients.
