Former SFA chief Stewart Regan has told Scottish clubs to bin self-interest and begin working together to save the game north of the border.
Regan, who left his position at Hampden in 2018 after eight years, is now a consultant for UEFA and FIFA. And he says Scottish clubs need to look out for each other and ensure they come up with a plan that’s best for everyone to help minimise the impact of the coronavirus crisis. That includes considering all league reconstruction proposals and accepting that the season can’t restart until it’s 100 per cent safe to do so.
League bosses have yet to make a call on the remainder of the Premiership campaign with Celtic 13 points clear of Rangers who have a game in hand.
