Scottish Government confirms no new Covid deaths and 851 cases in last 24 hours

Scottish Government has confirmed that no more people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The latest figures for Scotland showed that 851 new cases had also been recorded overnight as the country moved to level zero.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 7,992.There are currently 356 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 42 being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 355,388 .4,026,827 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,342,056 have received their second.
