Disney is eyeing May 11 to re-open the first theme park to shut down, Shanghai Disney. Reports are saying that CEO Bob Chapek announced plans to re-open the doors to the park after it has been closed since January.
During an earnings call, the CEO shared that when the park does re-open, it will put social distancing rules and practices in place. “We will take a phased approach with limits on attendance, using an advanced reservation and entry system, controlled guest density using social distancing and strict government required health and prevention procedures,” he shared. “These include the use of masks, temperature screenings and other contact tracing and early detection systems.” Shanghai was the first theme park to shut its’ doors,
