WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. - The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced on Tuesday that a man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter of a 17-year-old Gloucester County boy over the weekend. On Sunday, April 16, officers from the Monroe Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Chestnut Street in Williamstown for a report that a man had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim who had been shot in the head. Authorities say a suspect, 18-year-old Nasir D.

BOWDOIN, Maine (AP) - Four people were fatally shot at a house in Maine on Tuesday shortly before gunfire wounded three others on a busy highway, in a pair of crimes that are linked, authorities said. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating after a body was found in the back seat of a burning car early Tuesday morning. According to officials, police responded to a car fire in the area of Sylvester and Howell Streets in the Oxford Circle section of the city just before 1 a.m. Police say officers and medics arrived on scene to find a Honda CRV fully engulfed in flames. Once the fire department put out the flames, authorities say they realized there was a body in the back seat. The individual in the back seat was pronounced dead shortly after, according to Chief Inspector Scott Small, who says the body was burned beyond recognition. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAuthorities say the inside of the vehicle was also completely burned and there is damage to the vehicle's exterior. According to police, the car was parked there just before 1 a.m. and two people got out before the vehicle went up in flames. The person's cause of death remains under investigation, Small says. This is a developing story.

PHILADELPHIA - A local mother is speaking out against a Philadelphia daycare after she says her 6-year-old son was left alone on a school bus and had to find his way back into the building. Terralyn Jackson told FOX 29 that her son, Zaadyn, was picked up from school on Friday for an after school program at the Rock Foundation Early Learning Academy in West Oak Lane. Zaadyn ended up falling asleep on the bus during transit and when the bus arrived at the daycare, he was left behind for approximately 15-17 minutes, Jackson said. Zaadyn said he was awoken by the unseasonably warm temperatures that climbed into the mid-80s on Friday, and he found his way off the bus and through the daycare's front gate. MORE LOCAL HEADLINES"If he did not know how to get through the gate, which the lock is very high, he would’ve been on Ogontz Avenue just randomly there," Jackson said.Jackson said a parent let Zaadyn in through the main entrance of the daycare. LOWER MERION, Pa. - The parent of a 5th grade student at Bala Cynwyd Middle School is keeping his child away from school after he says he showed up on a "kill list" made by other students.The parent, who asked to remain anonymous, said they received a call from Lower Merion School officials on Mar. 27 - the same day six were killed in a school shooting in Nashville - and told their son had been threatened. "Other students suggested that a list be made of students within the building who they hoped are shot," the parent told FOX 29's Jeff Cole.

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - Residents in Burlington County are calling on police to enforce stricter distracted driving laws after they say drivers regularly speed through a heavily-trafficked intersection in their town, putting pedestrians' safety at risk. Concerned residents in the Larchmount section of Mount Laurel say drivers need to slow down and stop for pedestrians in the crosswalks. The high demand for police to get involved came after several residents complained that they were almost struck at the same crosswalk."If they don't stop, they could kill someone," said Wendy Walters, a resident in Mount Laurel.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating the death of a man who was shot in East Germantown on Friday evening. According to authorities, officers from the 19th District responded to the 6100 block of Ardleigh Street for a report of a shooting shortly before 9 p.m. Officials say 24-year-old Donte Moore, of East Germantown, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and lower back. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESFire department medics pronounced Moore dead on scene at 9:05 p.m., according to authorities. Police say 23-year-old Zaire Ayers of West Philadelphia was arrested in connection with the shooting. Ayers has been charged with murder and related charges, officials say.
