NEW DELHI : Addressing a joint press conference on Thursday, Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that all shops selling essential commodities in the capital will be allowed to remain open round the clock to ensure less crowding and encourage people to follow social distancing norms.
While it is not mandatory, factories engaged in manufacturing essential items have also been given an option to operate 24 hours a day, Kejriwal added.
