NEW DELHI : Allaying the concerns over rising cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Capital, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that the government is scaling up health infrastructure to handle the situation in case the city enters stage 3 of the pandemic.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led government had set up a panel of five doctors on Wednesday to prepare a report on the steps needed to ramp up infrastructure to deal with 1,000 positive cases daily.
The panel submitted its report on Thursday. “I have received the report from the panel of doctors headed by Dr Sareen recommending measures to prepare for a potential Stage 3 outbreak of COVID-19 in Delhi.
