Fellow judge Sofia Vergara had joked that Heidi had come down with food poisoning at the time, before it was revealed she was feeling under the weather.

However, due to the cold-like symptoms being a possible indicator of coronavirus, Simon Cowell revealed he underwent a test to be on the safe side.
