Manchester United remain hopeful of landing Jude Bellingham - with the Birmingham teen "blown away" after a meeting which involved the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Birmingham youngster, 16, is being courted by United and Borussia Dortmund ahead of a proposed £30million switch at the end of the season.

United have gone to great lengths to persuade Bellingham on a move to Old Trafford, even showing him round the club's training facilities.

Bellingham was joined by his parents and held talks with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while Ferguson was also present to play his part in helping lure the midfielder to Manchester.
