As protests continue across the country, Sony/ATV Music Publishing chairman/CEO John Platt has shared an open letter reflecting on his own experience as the only black CEO of a major music company, and calling on the music industry to help "lead society out of crisis."Platt joins a surge of calls to action from the music industry over the weekend, including a "Black Out Tuesday" initiative that asks companies to pause activity tomorrow (June 2) in an effort to "provoke accountability and change."
