A steamy EastEnders affair is set to still go ahead, but their sex scenes have been scrapped because of social distancing rules.

The two characters will not be able to kiss or hug on screen as the BBC soap adheres to the government's coronavirus guidelines.

The Queen Vic may also not be opening to Albert Square punters as the soap will be reflecting the lockdown in dialogue. An insider has told The Sun that the passionate fling will still be going ahead but that bosses have had to work around social distancing.
