A Scottish supermum gave birth to her 13th child on the day before the UK's lockdown was announced. Deborah Douglas, 38, from Dumfries, is mother to one of the biggest families in Scotland, the Daily Record reports.

Remarkably, Deborah said she never planned on having many children while growing up. She gave birth to her newborn Nate at Dumfries Infirmary while her and husband Craig's one-year-old Eboni was elsewhere in the hospital being treated for suspected coronavirus.

Deborah said: “It was a bit of a nightmare but thankfully, Eboni eventually tested negative for Covid-19 and was back home three days later to see her new wee brother.” Little Nate is the latest addition to a brood which also includes Ellie, 16, Liam, 15, Troy, 13,

PHILADELPHIA - A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in the back in the head in West Philadelphia. The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of North Wanamaker Street. Police say they found the 40-year-old man suffering from the gunshot wound to the head and he was rushed to a local hospital.
