Susanna Reid has shared how she has been taking steps to protect herself during the coronavirus pandemic. The Good Morning Britain presenter has made her own mask at home and questioned why more people aren’t wearing them.
Susanna recalled going out for a walk and getting ‘coy looks’ from other people as she was the only person wearing a face mask.
When a friend of hers from the US asked why more people weren’t wearing masks she quoted the government advice that they are not needed, but she worried that ‘it’s more about supply and demand’.
Writing in her Mail Online column, the broadcaster said: ‘This week, NHS chiefs told ministers that driving people to wear masks could risk the supply to health workers. ‘None of us want that, but neither
