The family of 44-year-old Maurice Pinkard gave an emotional plea about getting justice for the husband, father and grandfather fatally struck by a vehicle in Upper Chichester Township.  UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The family of a 44-year-old man killed in a hit and run in Pennsylvania is making an emotional plea for people to come forward with information. Police say troopers responded to mile marker 2.4 on I-95 north in Upper Chichester Township on Saturday around 9:12 p.m. According to authorities, troopers found Maurice Pinkard, a motorcycle and a pick-up truck after they were all struck by a vehicle. State Police say a 44-year-old man died after he was fatally struck by a blue Ford F-150 that veered into the shoulder and hit him on Saturday night. The search for the vehicle and the driver involved is ongoing.Investigators say it was determined that a blue Ford F-150 traveling in the right lane on I-95 swerved onto the shoulder, striking Pinkard, who was filling his wife's car with gas after she ran out, and two other vehicles. Maurice's wife Caprice, four of their six children and one of their grandchildren joined Good Day Philadelphia to discuss the tragedy and their search for justice. The family of 44-year-old Maurice Pinkard, who was killed in a hit-and-run in Upper Chichester Township, speak with FOX 29's Mike Jerrick about how Maurice's death has impacted their family.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are searching for a burglary suspect accused of stealing a safe from a North Philly pizzeria. According to authorities, the incident occurred on July 23 at 5:31 a.m. Police say the suspect entered through the front door of the pizzeria on the 100 block of Diamond Street. He then walked behind the counter and removed the safe with $20,000, according to officials. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAuthorities say the suspect was wearing a brown towel on his head and dark-colored clothing during the incident. Police released surveillance video and images of the suspect both inside and outside of the pizzeria. Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia police at 215-686-8477 or submit an anonymous tip. Police say they are searching for the person seen here with a brown towel on their head and dark-colored clothing.

Suspect sought in North Philadelphia robbery.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Police in Egg Harbor Township say a Philadelphia man has been arrested for an attempted luring of a child. According to authorities, police responded to Graef's Boat Yard at 101 Longport Boulevard on Sunday at 5:46 p.m.Officers met with two civilians who run a YouTube channel dedicated to catching child predators, police say. According to investigators, the YouTubers posed as an underage girl and they had messages they exchanged with 57-year-old Roger Tomes of Philadelphia. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESTomes thought he was communicating with a 15-year-old girl who he told to meet him on his boat in Egg Harbor Township to engage in sexual and illegal activities, police say. Police arrested Tomes and charged him with luring, according to officials. According to the Egg Harbor Township Police Chief, Tomes could face up to ten years in prison and a penalty of up to $150,000 if convicted. Anyone with any additional information is urged to contact police at 609-652-1234. 

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities in a Montgomery County community are reminding residents to lock their doors after an uptick home burglaries. The Norristown Police Department believe the suspected burglar has entered homes through unlocked doors and windows since June.The department shared a photo of a suspect, who they believe is between 16-25-years-old, and said he has hit homes between 3 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. All but one of the burglaries, according to investigators, happened between Markley and Stanbridge streets, and West Washington and West Oak streets. The Norristown Police Department shared photos of a suspect they say has entered several homes through unlocked doors and windows.

PHILADELPHIA - Neighbors in one Philadelphia community are on edge after surveillance video captured a group of suspected burglars casing their street moments before an attempted break-in.Doorbell footage captured on Uber Street in Fairmount around midnight Wednesday claims to show three suspects split up and search for which homes have cameras. In another video, one of the alleged robbers appears to be pointing at houses. Griffin Pierce, a Fairmount resident whose home was nearly broken into, said he believes the suspects were "counting houses and looking at cameras." Pierce told FOX 29's Kelly Rule that shortly after the doorbell footage was captured, he woke up to his roommate screaming that someone was trying to come through their back window from an alleyway that lined the back of the property. MORE LOCAL HEADLINES"He was like ‘Guys!
