On Monday afternoon, Mexican singer Thalia connected with Billboard’s Leila Cobo for an Instagram Live to talk about her quarantine experience and what she is doing to protect her family from COVID-19.
The first thing the superstar explained is that she has been in some version of a quarantine for around 13 years. "I practice quarantine for my Lyme disease," she said, adding, "everything that is the hygiene of the hands, cleaning shoes, where to go out has been part of the process." During the interview, Thalia also addressed her recent Instagram post, in which she was outraged by the "life as usual" orders given by Mexico’s president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, amid the global coronavirus pandemic.
