Celtic star Kristoffer Ajer has pleaded with Scottish clubs to look after their players' mental health during lockdown. SPFL stars are currently in limbo amid coronavirus crisis with no realistic prospect of football returning in the immediate future.

Hoops stopper Ajer is back home in his Norwegian home of Kristiansand, but has been in constant communication with Celtic during the lockdown.But he's worried about the mental health of other players during this period of uncertainty.

He said: " Celtic are good at focusing on the mental side of it. But many football players are in a cycle where everything is organised on the training ground and everything else for them. "They get the adrenaline from playing games and going to training.
