Sick thieves have stolen food parcels and kids toys for vulnerable Scots families and PPE for charity staff in a heartless raid.
Goods were being gathered at Edinburgh's Magdalene Community Centre to help out people battling through the coronavirus crisis.
But thieves struck overnight on Friday leaving a trail of devastation- with food, toys, toiletries and all the PPE for staff nicked.
Even camping equipment used by staff for making coffee was taken.Around £1,600 worth of items were stolen.But kind-hearted punters have put their hands in their pockets since the raid and have raised almost double that.Charity secretary Hannah Johnston said: "At some point after nine weeks of operation, people have come along, opened up the storage tents
