A tireless tailor has delivered his 5,000th piece of PPE to frontline workers in their fight against covid-19. Grateful Tommy Rae was inspired to help medics and care workers after being treated for a massive heart attack two years ago.

Forced to shut his own shops, he moved into a bigger council-owned Glasgow base with machines donated from closed factories.“I was sitting in the house when the shops closed down.
