TUI holidays could go ahead this month. According to Reuters, the travel firm plans to kick off its summer flight plan on June 17.
This is when Germany is set to lift travel warnings. TUI says its main destinations are in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Greece, Portugal and Cyprus.
It will also be offering trips to Croatia and Bulgaria. TUI wants to reassure those who have holidays booked for the coming weeks.
Previously, the travel firm said flights departing after June 12 are “due to operate”. But this may not be the case if the government continues to warn against non-essential travel.
