One of the most ambitious theme park projects in Europe, The London Resort is set to open in Kent in 2024. Now the developers of the park - which is set to feature rides based on kids' shows such as Thunderbirds and attractions from classic films such as The Godfather - have announced they are continuing with plans, despite coronavirus.
In a statement on the website, the park said it was now beginning a public consultation on the site, ahead of applying for planning permission.
Nearby residents and business owners are set to be quizzed, ahead of the publication of an environmental impact report of the park - which aims to achieve a Net Zero carbon emissions goal.
