Two OAPs in their 90s beat coronavirus at Scots care home

Two Scots ex-servicemen have received a heroes welcome after beating coronavirus aged 93 and 91. Bob Weir, 93, and Bill McRae, 91, are residents at Morningside Care Home in Wishaw where they both tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month.

The lifelong Motherwell FC fans have beaten the odds and battled back to health - with staff at the home over the moon with their amazing recovery.

A touching video showing the moment Bill was hailed by care workers has racked up more than 8000 views after being shared on social media.Bill came to the home in February 2019 and was a member of Law Village Bowling club for more than 50 years.
