UK coronavirus death toll passes 20,000 as a further 782 die from Covid-19

The total number of coronavirus-related fatalities has surpassed 20,000, with a further 782 deaths recorded across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours.
NHS England announced 711 deaths in England, taking the total number in the country to 18,084 alone. Public Health Wales confirmed a further 23 deaths in the country, taking their death toll to 774.
The Scottish Government confirmed the country's death toll had risen to 1,231, after a further 47 people died on Friday from Covid-19 Northern Ireland are yet to release their daily figures.
The chilling 20,000 death milestone comes just 13 days after the UK surpassed the 10,000 fatality mark. Figures suggest the UK has surpassed the peak of the virus but deaths
