The number of coronavirus hospital deaths in the UK has risen by 386 today - the lowest death toll on a Thursday this year. NHS England announced another 309 deaths, Scotland recorded 57 deaths, Wales reported 14 deaths and there have been an additional 6 deaths from the virus in Northern Ireland.
Yesterday the number of coronavirus hospital deaths in the UK increased by 622. Last Thursday, February 11, the number of daily coronavirus hospital deaths rose by 578.
The Thursday before was 728 and before that 1,058. A further 309 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 80,424.
