We've been on a bit of a journey to get here, but Eurovision is finally with us. The pandemic well and truly threw a spanner in the works and resulted in the inevitable cancellation of the actual contest, which was due to be held in Rotterdam.

However, the show will go on (sort of). Instead, there will be a selection of alternative shows airing to make sure we still get our slice of Eurovision fun.

In fact, there’s over five hours of Eurovision-themed shows to keep us going throughout the night. Starting at 5.40pm, BBC1 will show a special episode of Pointless Celebrities featuring past contestants such as Dana International, SuRie, and Mans Zelmerlow.
