A free one-day walk-in Covid testing service will be provided at the GAA grounds in Rathkeale in Co Limerick tomorrow. Anyone concerned about Covid-19 will be able to get tested.

It is the first testing centre to be opened where an appointment will not be necessary. The HSE Mid West Community Healthcare division said that the one-day pop-up test centre will be open from 10am-7pm at Mick Neville Park GAA grounds in the town.

The HSE said it is sometimes important to actively look for cases of Covid-19, as some people who are infectious might have no symptoms or their symptoms may be so mild as to be unnoticeable.
