Parents are being urged to seek medical attention for their poorly children amid concerns they are staying away from hospitals because of coronavirus.
Evidence has emerged of children going to hospital too late as families fear them catching the disease. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health says that 'evidence is emerging that children and families are not accessing medical advice and review as soon as is needed' - for a range of illness, including serious infections - and is urging parents to access the right help when required.
