Seven weeks into lockdown and if you've not already reached for the scissors chances are you're in need of a good haircut. But under the Government's plans to ease the restrictions barbers and beauty salons could be among the last businesses to open back up.

Classed as non-essential shops, hairdressers will only be allowed to reopen when it's considered 'safe to do so', and on the condition they are 'able to follow the new COVID-19 Secure guidelines'.

And the Government warns that's unlikely to be before July 4 at the earliest. So what do Greater Manchester's hairdressers make of the plans?

And what could a trip to the hairdressers look like in the future? Gill Moreton, who runs Fusion Hair in Ramsbottom, said she was 'very comfortable'
