The property firm run by Manchester Council and Manchester City owners the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG) says dozens of its tenants are facing financial difficulties because of the coronavirus lockdown - but promised 'to be patient'.

Manchester Life, the £1bn joint venture launched in 2014, has hundreds of tenants living in developments in Ancoats and New Islington on the edge of the city centre.

Many work in industries heavily affected by the coronavirus crisis such as hospitality and have lost work or are on a reduced income as a result.
