Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall has revealed when the lockdown specials will end, and when former storylines will continue.
The ITV soap like other shows had to halt filming in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, while the soap has recently returned to production.
Cast and crew must follow strict social distancing guidelines, while Covid-19 lockdown restrictions begin to lift. At risk of going off air, the soap was first to head back to the studio to film six special lockdown episodes, airing two episodes per week.
But fans feared that was the end of the normal episodes, and that they had no more pre-lockdown content to show amid big storylines.
