Whoopi Goldberg emotional on Loose Women as she talks pneumonia and sepsis ordeal

Whoopi Goldberg visited the Loose Women ladies on today's show as she chatted to them via video call. The 64-year-old Sister Act star was speaking on the ITV show about her time in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, and her struggles last year after falling gravely ill.

Chatting from her home in New York City, Whoopi said she was staying at home during lockdown and not taking any risks. She said that "they basically said you want to keep yourself away from people or wear a mask and I'm going to... "I personally think that people like me last year had some form of this and it involved into Covid-19." The star also spoke about her emotional time last year as she was hospitalised for weeks with pneumonia and sepsis.
