Wigan restaurant forced to shut after customer tests positive for coronavirus

Wigan, say the restaurant has closed temporarily and will undergo a deep clean.The customer visited on the afternoon of August 5 and anyone affected is now in the process of being contacted by the NHS test and trace system.'Devastated' bosses have offered a £10 voucher to anyone whose booking will have to be cancelled as a result.No date has been set for when the restaurant will reopen.In a post on the restaurant's Facebook page on Tuesday morning, a spokesperson said: "We regret to inform you that due to one of our recent customers having tested positive for Covid and so our Wigan restaurant will be temporarily closed for deep cleaning and testing of our staff."This customer visited on Wednesday 5th August in the afternoon and NHS track.
